Michelle Bennewitz - PWC, owner and operator of An Occasion to Remember, LLC, knows and understands that details are a crucial factor in a successful event.  Michelle graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Denver, and a Masters degree from Regis University – both in Marketing.  She spent 10 years in marketing and advertising – specifically in the areas of Account Management and Media Planning.  Both positions require tireless hours of research and preparation, as well as extensive attention to details.  In her spare time, she enjoys planning private parties at home, as well as assisting friends and family in organizing weddings, showers and social gatherings.

When she decided to leave the corporate world, she wanted to move on to something she loved best – assisting others in planning memorable lifetime events.  Michelle is a native to Colorado, so she enjoys sharing ideas in making a Colorado event special – whether it is a high country wedding in the Rocky Mountains or a city social gathering in the heart of Downtown Denver.  She always strives to find the “diamond in the rough.”

When she’s not focusing on the details, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, as well as gardening and taking in the beauty of the Colorado landscape.

Erin Martin – Event Consultant, understands the demands of planning a wedding, corporate meeting or fund-raising event. Her attention to detail and professional experience is an additional benefit to you to as you work together through the planning process, focusing on your vision and having fun along the way. After planning many weddings, corporate and non-profit events, Erin knows what it takes to make your event like no other.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Erin moved to Denver to be closer to the mountains, and to enjoy the city and front range communities. Growing up in Kansas City, her family enjoyed vacationing in the Rocky Mountains.  Annual trips in the winter to ski or the summer to hike were special memories.  She knows how special Colorado is and what it has to offer for those wanting to host a wedding, social gathering or corporate event.

After five years in the corporate world, Erin realized her passion rested with wedding and event planning. Her experience in marketing communications, including meeting and event planning, program design, and implementation and project management, has given her the tools to help craft dreams into reality. 

Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends while traveling, skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, cheering on her favorite college sports teams and enjoying all the other exciting activities that make Colorado unique.

She has been professionally trained by the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants.
